SEEK GOD’S PRESENCE Christmas time is a time where we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We gather together with family and exchange gifts with one another to show our love and to remember the ultimate gift that was given to us – Jesus Christ. Christmas itself is really about a big present that God gave the world about 2000 years ago – His one and only Son, Jesus. John 3:16 says, “God loved the world so much, that he gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him may not be lost but have eternal life.” Jesus was and is the best present that we could ever receive. And He is the only present that will never fade away. “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word

What is a blind spot? One definition of a blind spot is an area where a person’s view is obstructed. Another definition is an area in which a person lacks understanding or impartiality. The truth is…we all have blind spots. We do things that we are unaware of until someone else points them out to us. Just this week, my husband pointed out how I was slamming the cabinets and the drawers again in the bathroom while I was getting ready. I don’t even realize that I do this because I’m in my own little world usually praying or singing. It doesn’t even phase me but can be really annoying and disturbing to other people. However, the same is true if you sow discouragemen...t in others, you yourself will be discouraged. Maybe you are the one who needs encouragement today. There is no better way to be encouraged then to go out and encourage someone else. Whatever your need, go out and sow that seed. With so muc

JOY “Let us rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” – Phil 4:4 JOY is on my heart today. As I was praying this morning about what people needed to hear, “JOY” is what the Lord put on my heart. Christmas time should be the most JOYOUS time of the year but yet I have found that many people struggle to find joy and are often wishing the holidays away. It makes sense that at a time when we should be celebrating the birth of our Savior, that the enemy would try to take that joy away from us and get our focus on anything other than the Lord. Satan loves to steal our joy because he knows that the joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh 8:10). There is an acronym for JOY that stands
